Overview

Andaman & Nicobar island one of the seven union territories of India are a group of Island at the juncture of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. The territory capital is the city of Port Blair. 

Rajendra Chola Used the Andaman and Nicobar Island as a Strategic naval base to launch an expedition againts the Sriwijaya Empire. 

The Andaman & Nicobar island have a tropical rain forest canopy made of mixed flora with elements from Indian, Myanmar, Malaysian & endemic floral strains. 

In Port Blair main places to visit are the Cellular Jail, Mahatma Gandhi Marine Park, Corbyn’s Cove, Chidiya tapu , Naval Museum. Visit Havelock Beach, Radhanagar Beach,Neil Island are other major attractions.

We were group of 55 peoples. Konkan paryatan ( Mr.Mulik sir) took care of each and everyone.Hotel was good 150 mtrs away from beautyfull tarkarli sea. Food was tasty, except lunch served at gajanan annexe on 2nd day of our tour.
