Amritsar historically also known as R?md?spur and colloquially as Ambarsar, is the second largest city in the Indian state of Punjab, after Ludhiana. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, involving the killings of hundreds of Indian civilians on the orders of British Colonel Reginald Edward Harry Dyer, took place on 13 April 1919 in the heart of Amritsar.Amritsar is home to Sri Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as “the Golden Temple,” one of Sikh religion’s most spiritually significant and most-visited gurudwaras. The city is also known for Amritsari fish, its wooden chessboards and chess pieces manufacturing industry.

Myself Tejashree kamble , travelling first time with kokan parytan team. I must say it was a paisa vayssol trip for me. Arrangments was very good and food was very awesome and homely. Tour manger sudesh tambe very calm and paitence.

We were group of 55 peoples. Konkan paryatan ( Mr.Mulik sir) took care of each and everyone.Hotel was good 150 mtrs away from beautyfull tarkarli sea. Food was tasty, except lunch served at gajanan annexe on 2nd day of our tour.

We all had a lots of dhamal and Masti time on our Konkan Paryatan tour Best of Konkan. It is a perfect mix of beaches, food, temples,water games and shopping. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable with nice view also.
